Otome Game ( Part 1 )

Because I don't have life beside go to the gym every day, so I'm playing games and I don't feel like wasting my time. And my favorite genre is Otome Games ~ !

An otome game (乙女ゲーム otome gēmu, lit. "maiden game") is a video game that is targeted towards a female market, where one of the main goals, besides the plot goal, is to develop a romantic relationship between the female player character and one of several male, or occasionally female characters. This genre is most established in Japan, and is generally made up of visual novels and simulation games (particularly dating sims).

In a short explanation of Otome Game is DATING SIMULATION GAMES , and I don't have a boyfriend. But I do have my virtual boyfriends from Otome Games ! Virtual boyfriends are so awesome, here is the pro's:

• I don't have to reply their messages every minutes.
• Even though I'm ugly/fat/anti-social/etc he will still love me !
• I will find my prince charming in this game ( that does not exist in the real world )

But that's mean

ME = FOREVER ALONE

Really sad fact lah ... And the crazy fact there is a Japanese man marries with his virtual girlfriend wtf ... I don't understand why ... I know my virtual boyfriends are perfect but ... I can never think of marrying them ! They are living in different dimensions, same like me and all my oppa(s).



And I bought some otome games , My favorite are

1. Shall we date? : Ninja Love

Based on story of Nobunaga Oda / Honnoji Incident, I'm really adore Nobunaga Oda, his characteristics or traits that is interesting to me, he called "The fool of Owari" but actually he's one of Japan's most intelligent war strategists of all time. From humble beginnings as a minor lordling in a minor province and he was able to move so far along the process of unification. And especially "Battle of Okehazama". Okay I will stop talking about Nobunaga Oda. 

But in this Otome Game he is the antagonist character and you will hate him ( but I still love you Nobunaga ~ ! ).

You will be the granddaughter of a chief priest at a temple without knowing anything about such things. But one day, a group of ninjas appeared in front of you.

And told you that you are the ninja princess who succeeds to the art of Ninjutsu; the symbol of the pact among Iga, Koga and Fuma. You have to go Iga where the allied ninja are gathering to defeat Nobunaga Oda.

That is the main plot , you can play this game on iPhone and Android.

for iPhone version you can buy it for $4.99, I don't jailbreak my iPhone, and I bought it.
but there is a new version called GREE, I don't know about that version.

And for $4.99 you will get 3 guys ! Saizo Kirigakure, Sasuke Sarutobi, Kotaru Fuma, familiar name heh ? yes the characters based on real people ! (fyi; Saizo is the blue hair one, Sasuke is the blonde one , and Kotaru is the white hair one.)

If you want to get more guys buy it for $6.99 and you will get 2 guys ! ( wtf )
There are 3 packs;
Pack No. 1 = Goemon Ishikawa and Musashi Miyamoto
Pack No. 2 = Rennoshin and Munenori Yagyu
Pack No. 3 = Hanzo Hattori ( new pack, and he is the most expensive one ... $4.99? )

I bought all the packs and I spent $23.96 for this game and ... It's not the ending. The company made side stories of this game and there are 10 side stories that sell for $3.99/story  !!!
I don't buy any side story because It's a waste money ... but I really want to play it ,

Musashi Miyamoto , A ronin looking to find strength. Before I'm playing this game I already know about him , there is a famous history about his duel with Kojiro Sasaki and I read a book about him. But the unrealistic story is ... Musashi was born in 1584 and in this story he became Nobunaga's bodyguard / your bodyguard , but ... in that year he hasn't been born yet and Nobunaga died in 1582.

 me like: wtf is Musashi doing here.

2. Hakuoki: Demon of the Fleeting Blossom

Based on true story too, but this time is around the end of the Edo Period / Tokugawa-era Period. This game is about Shinsengumi, special police force of Japan. I want to talk about the story of Shinsengumi but ... It's really a long story ~ I'll do individual post then !

So In Hakuoki: Demon of the Fleeting Blossom, you will be a young woman by the name of Chizuru (but you rename her) comes to Kyoto in search of her missing father, and soon encounters danger and the Shinsengumi in quick succession. When it becomes clear the Shinsengumi are also searching for her father, Chizuru is put under their protection. But odd things are afoot in Kyoto-possibly even supernatural happenings.

Can Chizuru navigate this maze of mortal danger and political intrigue? Amidst so much mystery and death, can she find romance?  

In this game there are 6 guys that you can date/marry. I will list it from the picture above;

1. Chikage Kazama (fictional character)
2. Harada Sanosuke (the 10th unit captain)
3. Todo Heisuke (the 8th unit captain)
4. Saito Hajime (the 3rd unit captain)
5. Okita Souji (the 1st unit captain)
6. Hijikata Toshizo (the Vice Commander) 

I bought the Limited Edition one from Amazon for $58.22 , It's actually sell for $29.99 ( the original price before discount is $39.99 ) but the Shipping&Handling price are $19.98 and the Import Fees Deposit around $8.25 ...

But no regrets at all ! , I really love Harada Sanosuke's route but Hijikata still my favorite character . And I would advice you to not the watch the anime before you have play the game. Here is my package from Amazon !
